To my ear, the name of this pattern sounds like a piece of men’s athletic equipment. But there’s no denying that the ballband is one of the grand-daddies of washcloth knitting.
Heck, this fabric is absorbent enough to soak up grand-daddies, if you happen to have a flood of them.
